Using natural light

During the ISA-module ‘nothing is lighter than light’ with Helena Vagnière we practiced the use of light in various situations.

On the first day we just used light which was readily available to us. We tried shots from different angles, so light from the side or backlight.

We learnt that light shapes the spaces and most of the times decides if the picture will be easily legible or rather complicated. Depending on the project, one or the other may be the better decision. Either way, it’s a decision to make.
